Ingredients:

  • 3 cups white flour
  • 3 tbsp sugar
  • 1 1/2 tbsp baking powder
  • 3/4 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup margarine
  • 1 egg
  • 1 cup milk

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
  2. In a large bowl, blend together flour, sugar, baking powder and salt.
  3. Use a pastry blender to cut in the margarine.
  4. Add egg, egg white, and milk.
  5. Blend together until sticky dough forms.
  6. You can plop on a greased cookie sheet OR roll out on floured board to 3/4 thick and cut with biscuit cutter.
  7. Bake 10-11 minutes in a 400 degree oven.
