Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. In a medium skillet heat oil over medium heat.
  3. Add onion and garlic and cook until softened.
  4. Stir in tomato sauce and parsley and cook for 2 minutes.
  5. In a large bowl stir together ground beef, bread crumbs, egg, salt, pepper, and half of the tomato mix, until well combined.
  6. Shape meat into a loaf shape in a large roasting pan.
  7. Brush with remaining tomato mix.
  8. Arrange bacon over meat.
  9. Bake until no longer pink inside, about 1 hour, 30 min.
  10. Let stand 10 min before serving.
