Ingredients:

  • 1/4 cup melted butter or 1/4 cup canola oil
  • 1 1/2 cups flour
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • chocolate chips (optional- use as many as you want or none at all) or nuts (optional- use as many as you want or none at all)

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F
  2. Mash the bananas in a bowl. Add all the remaining ingredients and mix well with a wooden spoon.
  3. Bake in a buttered loaf pan until a toothpick stuck into the bread comes out clean, 55 to 60 minutes. Slice and serve.
