Bavarian Apple Raisin Tart

Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 425 then spray deep dish pie plate with cooking spray.
  2. In large bowl combine sugars, flour, zest, cinnamon and nutmeg then mix well.
  3. Peel core and thinly slice apples then add to sugar mixture stirring until well coated.
  4. Stir in raisins then spoon into prepared plate.
  5. Place piecrust on top of filling and trim edges pressing against edge of pan.
  6. Using a sharp knife cut steam vents in piecrust.
  7. To glaze lightly brush pie crust with beaten egg then sprinkle with sugar.
  8. Bake until pie crust is golden brown about 40 minutes.
  9. Place on wire rack and cool 30 minutes then serve warm.
