Basic Wine Gelato

Ingredients:

  • 5 oz milk
  • 2 1/2 oz sugar
  • 6 to 10 oz wine

Directions:

  1. Heat and mix milk, cream, and sugar in a saucepan to 180 degrees F. Cool in the refrigerator overnight. Add wine and freeze in an ice cream machine according to manufacturer's instructions.
