Basic Tomato Sauce

Ingredients:

  • 2 (102 oz) cans crushed tomatoes
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 8 garlic cloves
  • 1 tsp parsley
  • 1 dash salt
  • 1/2 tsp sage
  • 1/2 tsp oregano
  • 1 tsp basil

Directions:

  1. Dice the onion, and dice or crush the garlic,
  2. Simmer in water until onion is translucent.
  3. Add other spices.
  4. Add tomatoes.
  5. Bring to verge of boil.
  6. Turn temp to low.
  7. Simmer for 1-8 hours, stirring every 20-40 minutes.
  8. Enjoy.
