Banana Bread Pudding

Ingredients:

  • 3 eggs
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 2 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 ;2 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp. nutmeg
  • 3 tsp butter
  • 2 tsp. sugar
  • 1 tsp. cornstarch
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla

Directions:

  1. Place crumbs in 2 qt casserole, greased.
  2. Pour butter over and toss.
  3. In medium bowl, lightly beat eggs, milk, sugar and vanilla cinnamon, nutmeg and salt
  4. Stir in bananas then pour over crumbs
  5. Stir to coat.
  6. Bake uncovered at 375 for 40 minutes or until knife inserted comes out clean.
  7. Meanwhile, melt butter in small saucepan.
  8. Combine sugar and cornstarch.
  9. Add Butter.
  10. Stir in milk
  11. Add corn syrup
  12. Cook and stir over medium heat til mixtured comes to full boil
  13. Boil one minute.
  14. Remove from heat and stir in vanilla.
  15. Serve warm sauce over warm pudding.
