Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. In large mixing bowl, mash tator tots.
  2. Add saltine crackers.
  3. In another bowl, wisk egg, milk and 1 tsp oil.
  4. Pour into tator tots and mix with hands or spoon.
  5. Wipe off Sausage links with paper towels.
  6. Take a 6 X 6 piece of foil. Spread a little oil on the foil.
  7. Mound two spoonfuls of tator tot mixture. Place a sausage on the mound. Mold the tator tots around the sausage, Add more for the top of sausage if needed.
  8. Take the foil and press around the sides and top.
  9. Do the same with the other sausages.
  10. Preheat oven 375*.
  11. Carefully take off the foil and place on Pam sprayed tray.
  12. Bake 20 Minutes. Remove from oven. Let set 10 minutes.
  13. Remove from tray by spatula.
  14. Alternate baking method:.
  15. Spray Pam in muffin cups.
  16. Mound and flatten two spponfuls tator tot mixture. Add one sausage broken in small pieces. Cover with tator tot mixture. Press down.
  17. Bake 20 minutes. Let set 10 minutes before removing.
  18. Remove from muffin pan by spatula.
  19. Serve with sour cream or ranch dressing.
