Baked Guavas Stuffed With Mushrooms And Olives

Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. To prepare the guavas for stuffing cut a thin slice from the top of each guava.
  2. With a melon ball scoop or small spoon remove seeds and set guavas aside.
  3. Heat oil in a skillet.
  4. Add mushrooms, onion, olives, herbs, salt and pepper then sauté until vegetables are soft.
  5. Remove mixture from flame then cool.
  6. Stuff guavas filling to the top.
  7. Place stuffed guavas in a baking dish just large enough to hold them.
  8. Sprinkle sesame seeds over guava tops then bake at 325 for 1 hour.
  9. Serve hot.
