  1. Break off tough ends of the asparagus and cook until tender, drain.
  2. Meanwhile chop the ham and egg finely.
  3. Put asparagus on a serving plate and garnish with the chopped ham and eggs.
  4. Serve with the melted butter in a jug on the side.
