Apple Torte (Easy-Only 3 Apples)

Ingredients:

  • 4 tbsp butter
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp baking soda
  • 1/8 tsp salt
  • 3 large apples, peeled, cored , cut into crescent slices

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
  2. Cream toghether butter and sugar. Add egg and beat.
  3. Sift together flour, cinnamon, baking powder, baking soda and salt.
  4. Beat dry ingredients into butter mixture.
  5. Stir apples into batter, which will be thick and hard to stir.
  6. Turn into a buttered 9 pie pan and spread smooth.
  7. Bake for 1 hour, until just brown.
