Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Make dressing by combining the reserved pipeapple juice, sugar, butter and lemon juice in a small saucepan.
  2. Heat to boiling.
  3. Dissolve the cornstarch in the water; add to the pineapple mixture, stirring constantly.
  4. Cook until thick and smooth.
  5. Chill completely before stirring in mayonnaise and poppy seeds.
  6. Combine apples, pineapple chunks and grapes in large bowl.
  7. Add chilled dressing; refrigerate until time to serve.
  8. Stir in pecans right before serving for maximum crunchiness.
