Ingredients:

  • 1 3/4 cups quick oats
  • 1 1/2 cups flour
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp nutmeg
  • 1 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup white sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 cup applesauce
  • 1 cup raisins
  • 1 cup walnuts

Directions:

  1. Pour raisins into small bowl and cover with Oregon Chai Original concentrate, set aside. Combine oats, flour, baking powder, salt, cinnamon and nutmeg and set aside. In a separate mixing bowl, combine sugars, add butter and beat until creamy. Add egg and applesauce and blend until smooth. Add flour-oat mix and blend. Add chocolate chips, raisins and walnuts. Drop by rounded teaspoonfuls onto greased cookie sheet. Bake at 350, 10-12 minutes Yield 3 dozen.
