Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Combine first five ingredients in a small bowl, set aside.
  2. Beat butter and next 3 ingredients in a large bowl at medium speed with an electric mixer until fluffy.
  3. Gradually stir flour into butter mixture. Stir in apple and pecans. (Mixture will be thick.) Spread dough in a lightly greased 9-inch square pan.
  4. Bake at 350 for 1 hour, shielding with foil after 35 minutes to prevent excessive browning. Cool in pan on wire rack. Cut into squares.
