  1. Preheat oven to 350º F.
  2. In a large bowl, beat together the butter, brown sugar, eggs, flour, and milk until well blended.
  3. Pour the filling into the pie shell.
  4. Bake for 15 minutes at 350ºF or until crust is light golden brown.
  5. Turn off oven and leave the pie in the oven for 45 minutes to 1 hour.
