Ingredients:

  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 3/4 cup water
  • 1 1/2 cups fresh lime juice (about 9 limes)
  • 1 cup tequila
  • 3/4 cup orange juice
  • 1/2 cup amaretto
  • 8 lime slices

Directions:

  1. Combine sugar and water in a small saucepan; bring to a boil.
  2. Reduce heat; simmer 5 minutes or until sugar dissolves.
  3. Remove from heat; cool completely.
  4. Stir in lime juice.
  5. Combine sugar mixture, tequila, orange juice, and amaretto in a pitcher.
  6. Serve over ice.
  7. Garnish with lime slices.
