Alpine White Hazelnut Cake

Ingredients:

  • 1/4 cup hazelnut liqueur
  • 1/4 cup roasted and finely chopped hazelnuts
  • 1 alpine white candy bar warmed and shaved
  • frosting
  • 8 oz package cream cheese softened
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1 tsp hazelnut liqueur

Directions:

  1. Prepare cake in two layers according to package directions except substitute liqueur for water.
  2. Bake according to directions then cool on racks.
  3. For frosting cream butter and cream cheese then add remaining frosting ingredients.
  4. Frost center of bottom layer of cake and sprinkle with chopped hazelnuts reserving 2 teaspoons.
  5. Arrange raspberries over all then top with second layer of cake and continue icing.
  6. When finished arrange candy bar curls in center of cake and sprinkle with hazelnuts.
