Almond Chocolate Chip Cookies

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup butter
  • 1/2 cup white sugar
  • 1 1/2 cups brown sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 1/4 vanilla
  • 2 1/2 cups flour
  • 3/4 tsp salt

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350°C.
  2. Mix butter, eggs, sugar & vanilla.
  3. Mix together flour, salt, baking soda, baking powder in a separate bowl.
  4. Combine wet and dry ingredients.
  5. Stir in chocolate chips and almonds.
  6. Drop golf ball sized dough onto ungreased cookie sheet.
  7. Bake 10 -12 minutes until just edges are light brown.
  8. They may not look done, but the hot sugar will bake them more as they cool.
