4-H Applesauce Nut Bread

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups flour
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup applesauce
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 cup walnuts (or nuts of your choice)

Directions:

  1. Preheat over to 350° and grease 1 pound loaf pan.
  2. Mix dry ingredients.
  3. Beat egg, add melted butter, and applesauce.
  4. Add to dry ingredients. Fold in nuts.
  5. Pour into loaf pan and bake 1 hour.
