Ingredients:

  • 2 cups sugar
  • 6 tbsp margarine
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 3/4 cup flour
  • 3/4 cup milk

Directions:

  1. Mix peaches and 1 cup sugar together and let stand while making batter
  2. Melt margarine in a 2-quart casserole
  3. In a bowl, mix 1 cup sugar, salt, baking powder, and flour
  4. Beat in milk until lumps are gone
  5. Pour batter on melted margarine
  6. Do not stir
  7. Spoon peaches over top of batter
  8. Again, do not stir
  9. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes, or until golden brown
