Yummy Chocolate Velvet Cheesecake

Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Combine crumbs, pecans, granulated sugar and butter.
  2. Press onto bottom of 9-inch springform pan.
  3. Bake at 325 degrees F., 10 minutes.
  4. Combine cream cheese and brown sugar, mixing at medium speed on electric mixer
  5. Until well blended.
  6. Add eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  7. Blend in chocolate and liqueur;
  8. Pour over crust.
  9. Bake at 325 degrees F., 35 minutes.
  10. Increase oven temperature to 425 degrees F. Combine sour cream and granulated
  11. Sugar; carefully spread over cheesecake.
  12. Bake at 425 degrees F. 10 minutes.
  13. Loosen cake from rim of pan; cool before removing rim of pan. Chill.
  14. Note: Pie is shown with a chocolate 'leaf' on top.
