Wilma Lulows  Steamed Plum Pudding

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups suet
  • 2 cups raisins
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 2 cups buttermilk
  • 3 eggs
  • 5 -6 cups flour
  • 1 tbsp vanilla
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 1 cup water

Directions:

  1. Finely chop suet
  2. Mix all ingredients except last 3 thats for sauce with enough flour (see) to make thick
  3. Pour into steamer to steam 1 hour
  4. Meanwhile mix sugar vanilla and some water and let come to a boil for sauce.
