Ingredients:

  • 1/4 lb butter or 1/4 lb margarine
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 2 cups sifted confectioners' sugar

Directions:

  1. In a saucepan melt butter.
  2. Stir in granulated sugar and milk.
  3. Bring to boil, stirring occasionally.
  4. Cool.
  5. Gradually add confectioners' sugar while beating with a spoon until smooth;.
  6. Blend in vanilla.
