Ingredients:

  • 1 gallon apple cider
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 double thick cheesecloth (or flour bag)
  • 10 cinnamon sticks
  • 1 tsp whole cloves

Directions:

  1. Combine cider, lemon juice and sugar. bring to a boil.
  2. Add spice bag and sliced oranges to mix and tie with a string so spices do not fall out.
  3. Simmer for 30 minutes, uncovered.
