  1. Bring cream and corn syrup to a simmer, stirring, then remove from heat. Add chocolate and stir until it melts and sauce is smooth. Serve warm.
  2. Cooks' note: •Sauce can be made 5 days ahead and chilled, covered. Reheat over low heat, stirring, and thin slightly with water, if necessary.
