Vinegar Taffy Dated 1932

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1/2 cup vinegar
  • pinch of salt
  • 2 tbsp butter

Directions:

  1. Combine all ingredients and boil to the hard ball state.
  2. Pour into a well buttered pan and cool.
  3. Pull taffy until it becomes white and porous.
  4. Cut into 1 inch pieces.
