Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 3/4 cup flour
  • 1/3 cup cocoa
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp salt

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350.
  2. Cream together applesauce, sugar and vanilla.
  3. Sift flour, cocoa, baking powder, baking soda and salt.
  4. Stir in chocolate chips gently.
  5. Bake for 25 - 30 minutes in 9x9 pan.
