Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup butter,soft
  • 1/4 cup sugar , grind it
  • 1 1/4 cup flour
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven at 180 C.
  2. Beat butter and sugar until creamy.
  3. Add vanilla and baking powder and beat.
  4. Add flour,a tablespoon at a time and continue beating until you get a soft dough.
  5. Mix well and make 18 equal sized balls.
  6. Flat them with the palm of your hand.
  7. Place on a greased baking sheet .Dip a fok in water and press the top of each to mark the cookies.
  8. Bake on 180 C for 12-15 minutes till the edges of cookies turn golden.
  9. Leave on the cookie sheet for 2-3 minutes to cool a bit,then delicately detatch them from the sheet.
  10. Leave to cool on a wire-rack.
