Vanilla Brownies

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup margarine or 1/2 cup butter
  • 1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup chopped nuts
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 1/2 cups powdered sugar
  • 3 tbsp butter, soft
  • 1 -2 tbsp milk or 1 -2 tbsp water
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350 (F).
  2. Line 13x9x2 inch rectangular pan with foil, or grease and flour.
  3. Heat vanilla chips and margarine over low heat, stirring frequently, just until melted.
  4. Remove from heat; cool.
  5. Stir in remaining ingredients.
  6. Spread batter in pan and bake for 30-35 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
  7. Cool completely.
  8. Prepare Vanilla Glaze:.
  9. Mix all ingredients until smooth.
  10. Spread on cooled brownies.
  11. YUM!
