  1. Combine the yogurt, cucumbers, garlic, olive oil, vinegar, salt and pepper in a serving bowl. Mix well and refrigerate, covered, for an hour before serving. Serve chilled, garnished with mint leaves. (I like tzakiki that is more like a sauce but for a thicker consistency, drain the yogurt in cheesecloth for an hour beforehand and drain the cucumbers in a strainer.)
