  1. Cream butter and sugar; add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Add whipping cream, lemon rind, juice, cinnamon, and allspice; beat well. Pour filling into pastry shell. Sprinkle cornmeal evenly over top of filling. Bake at 300° for 45 minutes. Cool pie before slicing.
