Ingredients:

  • 1/2-2 tsp black pepper (optional)
  • 2 tsp brown sugar (optional)

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit.
  2. Lay bacon on pan covered with foil; sprinkle generously with black pepper and brown sugar; twist each strip and lay in rows on foil.
  3. Bake 10 minutes; drain fat from pan; bake 5 more minutes if needed or until bacon is as crisp as you like.
  4. Place on a paper towel to remove grease.
  5. Watch it disappear.
