Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven at 350 degrees.
  2. In a bowl with your mixer, cream margarine and sugar.
  3. Add eggs one at at time, beating each one in well.
  4. Mix in vanilla.
  5. Mix in dry ingredients.
  6. Spread 2/3 of the batter in a 9X13 pan.
  7. For filling: In medium saucepan, toss fruit with flour.
  8. Blend in remaining filling ingredients.
  9. Bring to boil over medium heat, stirring occasionally.
  10. Cover and simmer for 15 minutes or until fruit is tender.
  11. Cool completely.
  12. Spread fruit filling over batter in pan.
  13. Dob on remaining batter on top. (Some areas will not be covered with batter.).
  14. Bake for around 35 minutes.
