Ingredients:

  • 2 (4 1/2 oz) jars peach baby food
  • 1/3 cup catsup
  • 1/3 cup vinegar
  • 4 lbs meaty spareribs
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp salt

Directions:

  1. Mix ingredients for sauce.
  2. Rub ribs on both sides with salt.
  3. Place ribs, meat side up in a foil-lined shallow pan.
  4. Bake in a hot oven 450 for 15 minutes.
  5. Spoon off fat.
  6. Pour sauce over ribs.
  7. Continue baking in a 350 oven for 1 1/2 hours or until done, basting several times with the sauce.
