Ingredients:

  • 2 (14 1/2 oz) cans whole tomatoes, drained and coarsly chopped
  • 1 1/2 cups white bread, cubes (soft , 3-4 slices)
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar , firmly packed
  • 1/4 tsp pepper

Directions:

  1. Stir all ingredients together. Spoon into a lightly greased 9-inch baking dish.
  2. Bake at 400 for 35 to 40 minutes.
