Thin New Hampshire Maple Syrup Pancakes

Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. In a large bowl, sift together the flour and baking powder.
  2. In a separate bowl combine the maple syrup, egg, and milk.
  3. Add the liquid mixture gradually to the dry ingredients.
  4. Stir until moistened.
  5. Add the margarine or butter.
  6. The batter should be fairly thin.
  7. Add more milk if necessary.
  8. Pour into a greased electric skillet or pan and cook until bubbles come to the surface and the edges are done.
  9. Turn and brown the other side.
  10. Makes 8 to 10 small pancakes
