Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Take a muddler and crush a piece of fresh ginger in the bottom of an old fashioned glass with a splash of bourbon and one twist of lemon peel. Crush it hard. Really pulverize it.
  2. When it has given up all it's flavor.
  3. Put the ginger, splash of bourbon and lemon peel mixture into a cocktail shaker.
  4. Add a hefty shot bourbon.
  5. Add maple syrup
  6. Add fresh lemon juice
  7. Add a few big ice cubes
  8. Shake Shake Shake.
  9. Strain over a tumbler of ice.
  10. Add cinnamon stick as stirrer.
  11. Sit back and enjoy........all the better if there is a hockey game on...but then I digress.
