Ingredients:

  • 10 tbsp oil
  • 2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp plack pepper
  • 2 cups matzo meal
  • 6 eggs

Directions:

  1. Boil first 4 ingredients in pan.
  2. Remove from heat and add the matza meal, mix well.
  3. Add the eggs one at a time and beat well after each addition.
  4. Leave to stand for about 5-10 minutes.
  5. Heat oven to medium high
  6. Line a baking tray with baking paper.
  7. With wet palms make large balls from the mixture and place well apart on the tray.
  8. Bake for a full 50 minutes till well risen and golden.
  9. Delicious with butter and strawberry jam.
