Ingredients:

  • 3 tbsp salt
  • 1 gallon cold water

Directions:

  1. Mix ingredients well until dissolved.
  2. Submerge fish in the solution by weighing down with a heavy plate.
  3. Refrigerate overnight, or a minimum of 6 hours.
  4. Discard solution and rinse fish under cold water.
  5. Dry on paper towels and cook or freeze for later use.
