  2. Add remaining ingredients.
  3. Simmer gently for 1 hour or until meat is tender.
  4. Remove the fowl.
  5. Cut 1 cup of the meat in 1/2 inch cubes and add to the soup.
  6. Correct the seasonings to your taste.
