Ingredients:

  • 1 cup sugar
  • 3 tbsp milk
  • 1 egg
  • 1 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt

Directions:

  1. Combine first 5 ingredients; blend well. Add remaining dry ingredients; mix well.
  2. Wrap dough in plastic wrap and chill for at least 1 hour.
  3. Roll dough out onto a lightly floured surface to about 1/3 thickness. Cut with floured cookie cutters that are all about the same size. Place on a lightly greased cookie sheet.
  4. Bake 400 degrees for 5-9 minutes or until edges are light golden brown. Remove cookies from sheet as soon as they are cool enough to handle. Cool completely on a wire racks.
