Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Break the eggs and whisk.
  2. Add sugar to eggs.
  3. Mix immediately.
  4. Bring butter to room teperature.
  5. Flake butter into the flour.
  6. Put aside.
  7. Add vanilla to egg mixture.
  8. Mix the egg mixture while flour mixture are being added bit by bit.
  9. Let the dough rest in a cool, dry place for about 20 minutes.
  10. Form small balls from the dough.
  11. Put oil into a large pot and bring to 350 degrees F.
  12. Fry small quantities of the dough in oil until golden brown.
  13. Let it cool down to roomtemperature.
  14. In a saucepan, heat hone (not to boil).
  15. Add small quantities of the balls into the pan.
  16. Stir lightly with a large slotted spoon.
  17. Remove balls from honey.
  18. Place onto a serving plate.
  19. Sprinkle with powdered sugar.
  20. Sprinkle silver balls over.
