Ingredients:

  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 3 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 1/2 tbsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 orange , zest of
  • 2 cups confectioners' sugar
  • 1/2 cup orange juice
  • 1 tsp honey
  • 1 orange , zest of

Directions:

  1. Mix milk, orange juice, sour cream, eggs and melted butter together. In a separate bowl mix together flour, sugar, bowing powder and salt. Then add to wet ingredients. Fold in orange zest. Place batter in greased or lined muffin pan. Bake in oven at 350 degrees for 15-20 min or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  2. To make the glaze, combine orange juice, confectioners sugar, whipping cream, honey, almond extract and orange zest in a small bowl. Whisk together until smooth. Drizzle the glaze over the muffins while they are still warm.
