Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Bake or buy your favorite cake for 9 inch pan
  2. I used a sponge cake.
  3. Cut cake into even pieces.
  4. You need two pieces for each serving to stack onto each other, so take that into consideration
  5. Mix softened cream cheese with powder sugar to taste for sweetness and add the vanilla ( or rum or almond )
  6. To serve:
  7. Place a layer of cake on a plate,.
  8. Spread some softened cream cheese over cake, layer on fresh , sliced strawbwerries.
  9. Add another piece of cake over that
  10. Carefully spread more cream cheese over top of cake and layer on more berries.
  11. Garnish with a whipped cream. Add nuts too if desired
  12. Place some thick fudge sauce evenly around cake plate.
  13. Tip: it helps if the cake is cold ( partially frozen ) because it make spreading on the cream cheese easier.
  14. So the time you plate the desserts and serve them, everything will be softened and ready
