Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Combine flour, white sugar, soda and salt.
  2. Add whole egg and soft butter and stir to combine.
  3. Press into bottom of 9X13 pan to form a crust.
  4. Combine melted butter, 3T white sugar and pecans and toss until nuts are coated.
  5. Press sprinkle pecans over crust and lightly press into dough.
  6. Bake crust/pecans for about 7 minutes and remove from oven.
  7. Beat egg whites until dry peaks form.
  8. Fold in brown sugar and beat until smooth.
  9. Add vanilla and combine again, well.
  10. Spread on top of pecans.
  11. Bake at 350 for about 30 minutes.
  12. Cool and cut into 48 pieces.
