Ingredients:

  • 1 1/2 cups butter
  • 3 cups sugar
  • 1 tsp lemon
  • 5 eggs
  • 3 cups flour
  • 1 cup sprite

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 325 degrees.
  2. Cream butter and sugar with blender, add extracts.
  3. Add eggs, one at a time; mix well.
  4. Alternate adding flour and sprite; mix well.
  5. Pour into a floured and greased pan.
  6. Bake 1 hour and 30 minutes.
  7. Cake should be golden brown when done.
