Spiced Red Cabbage

Ingredients:

  • 6 whole cloves
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 3 tbsp vinegar

Directions:

  1. Combine all ingredients, except the vinegar.
  2. Pour into a buttered casserole dish.
  3. Bake in a 325 degree oven for 30 to 40 minutes, or until cabbage is tender.
  4. Sprinkle vinegar over cabbage immediately upon removing dish from oven.
