Slow Cooker Peanut Butter Loaf

Ingredients:

  • 3/4 cup hot water
  • 3/4 cup peanut butter
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 1/2 tsp sugar
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1 egg
  • 2 cups flour

Directions:

  1. In large bowl, pour hot water over peanut butter.
  2. Stir in milk, sugar, salt, egg, flour and baking powder.
  3. Mix well.
  4. Add peanuts.
  5. Grease 5 or 6 cup mold.
  6. Spoon bread mixture into mold.
  7. Cover with foil and tie.
  8. Place mold on rack in slow cooker.
  9. Pour 2 cups hot water around mold.
  10. Cover pot and cook on HIGH for 2-3 hrs, or until done.
  11. Remove from pot.
  12. Let bread stand to mold for 10 min.
  13. ;turn out on cooling rack.
  14. Serve warm or cool; spread with butter, marmalade, or jam.
