Sirloin and Gorgonzola Pasta

Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. In large nonstick pan heat oil over medium heat.
  2. Cook steak turning once for 8-10 minutes or until browned on the outside and medium rare inside.
  3. Transfer to cutting board and cut across the grain into strips.
  4. Cover and keep warm.
  5. Add onion and mushrooms to skillet and cook stirring often for 8 minutes or until no mushroom liquid remains.
  6. Sprinkle with flour, salt and pepper.
  7. Cook stirring for 1 minute.
  8. Whisk milk into pan and bring to boil.
  9. Reduce heat and simmer stirring often for about 5 minutes or until slightly thickened.
  10. Cook pasta in large pot for 6-8 minutes or until tender but firm.
  11. Drain and return to pot.
  12. Add sauce and cheese, toss to coat.
  13. Transfer to serving bowl.
  14. Top with reserved steak.
  15. Sprinkle with tomato and onion.
  16. Toss to serve.
