Ingredients:

  • 1 1/2 cups brown sugar , firmly packed
  • 2 cups water

Directions:

  1. Combine sugars with with water in a heavy saucepan and bring to a boil. Stir often to keep from scorching.
  2. Once mixture boils, reduce heat and simmer for about 5 minutes. Store at room temperature sealed tightly in a glass jar for best results.
